The entrepreneur and his company, Traikos Real Estate Group, closed on two major Rochester properties in 2007 — the Academy Building on Fitzhugh Street and the former James Cunningham, Son & Co. carriage factory on Litchfield Street. Traikos moved to Monroe County.

(Buffalo Business First, September 17, 2009) - BUFFALO, NY - Yogen Fruz, the Canadian-based frozen yogurt chain, has targeted Buffalo and the Upstate market for its latest expansion plans.

Yogen Fruz, through its Rochester franchisor, George Traikos, will be opening its first area location in the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence on Saturday, followed by a second location in the Boulevard Mall that’s slated to open on a week later on Sept. 26.

Yogen Früz has announced it will open two outlets in the region this month.

The first retail store is scheduled to open at Eastern Hills Mall in Williamsville, NY on September 19th, and the second at Boulevard Mall in Amherst, NY on September 26th. A total of fifteen new stores will open in the Buffalo market within the next five years.
